Germany trip 2006

In March 2006 I went on a holiday to Germany with my parents, my sister, and her son Max, to visit the many relatives and friends we have there.

Dad's train

My dad builds trains as a hobby. This is his current project - powered by a Suzuki Swift 1.3L 4 cylinder engine, and using hydraulic drive. January 2006.

Grappling competition (March 2005)

Pics from a no-gi grappling competition I entered in March 2005. This was my first comp so I was pretty nervous. Fighters start standing up and try to win by making the opponent submit (give up) using chokes, arm bars, joint manipulations etc. A match consists of a single 5 minute round.

Bondy's end-of-uni party 2004

Bondy's party in November 2004 to celebrate the end of the University year (for most of us our last as undergraduates). Held at his parent's house in Mandurah.

Lego RCX project

A Computer Science group project that I was a part of in 2003 which involved building a computer controlled camera mount using Lego RCX parts and Java... many sleepless nights. It was a good project that taught us a lot about working in a team, keeping track of project milestones, and tracking bugs, and source control.
